Jackie Morrison

Treasurer

Jackie is a founding member, donor, and since 2023 the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Henry’s Fork Wildlife Alliance. She and her husband George have been part of the Island Park community for decades, owning a cabin there since 2001 and spending more than 30 years exploring and appreciating the region’s natural beauty.
Her passion for nature shines through in her love of what she calls “National Geographic moments,” whether they involve wildlife, wildflowers, or dramatic mountain weather. She actively participates in HFWA projects such as fence removals, weed control, and community events, which deepen her connection to conservation work.
Professionally, Jackie spent 38.5 years working for Department of Energy Idaho Operations contractors, primarily in management roles overseeing planning and financial controls. Her work focused on integrating scope, schedules, and resources to ensure mission success. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of Idaho, with an emphasis in Industrial Safety and Waste Management.
Since retiring in 2022, she enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle—hiking, gardening, kayaking, and walking her dog—continuing the same love of the natural world that fuels her HFWA involvement.
