Lisa Pedersen is a retired Nurse, who spent several decades working in the field of Psychiatry, mostly working with teenage youthful offenders.
Lisa and her husband Jeff also helped raise many “ At Risk “ teens in their home as Special Needs Foster Parents. Lisa also volunteered as a CASA, a Court Appointed Advocate for children in State placement.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Lisa developed a passion for the outdoors, animals and wildlife, including fishing and hunting, with an interest in responsible conservation practices.
Lisa and Jeff spent years on their horse ranch they built in Southern Utah breeding, training and competing Norwegian Fjord Horses. They traveled around the country winning many all around titles with their horses.
Lisa is also an experienced animal rescuer, taking leadership roles in shelters, rescues and as a transporter for homeless pets, traveling to forever homes.
Lisa is always happy to connect and advocate for the Henry’s Fork Wildlife Alliance and its efforts in protecting our spectacular local treasures.
